Discussion: is ATRL overreacting to vomit?

2009: Lady Gaga embarks on a record-breaking world tour in support of her newly-released body of work, The Fame Monster.

An interlude during the concert features Mother Puker being vomited on by a performance artist:

2014: After suffering a disappointment in sales and acclaim, Lady Gaga takes to the stage at the SXSW Festival and, during a performance, is vomited on by a performance artist.

Consequence: Mass hysteria on ATRL.

Is ATRL really doing the most? Are they late to the party? Should they stop crying over spilt vomit?

It'll die down like everything else. Though I wonder if Gaga is going to keep going on the explicit route. ARTPOP might actually get more interesting with music videos/performances like that tbh

No. It was a horrific act that was committed last night and it's the message she's sending out that's so bad and why there's been a bad reception. It was very insensitive and the negativity it's received it totally understandable and she was practically asking for it anyway.
