The Paparazzi performance is still the best performance she's ever done. Her bleeding just capped it all off. It was shocking in the best way possible and really brought home the point that... fame kills. It was cohesive, grandiose and magnificently theatrical. That wasn't a grossout move, and it was fake.

The Kermit dress wasn't gross at all.

I'm sure her meat dress smelled awful, and most people thought that was odd. She was in a different place in her career though. If she had worn the meat dress today, it might have had the same reaction.

Puke is just gross, and it was real. And then she rode a bull.

I can't believe how quickly everyone latched onto a story about a concert though. Imagine the meltdowns if she had ever done something like this on the VMAs or whatever? Her original VMA concept with the torture **** would've been something else...

She did receive some backlash for the meat dress but it wasn't all that bad. Probably because of her stance back then.

The thing that bothers me is that people know that she has done this already with her tour but they are only bothering to drag her about it now. It's beyond transparent.

And I'm sure she is bitter biotin but I think she's just getting it out of her system.

Yeah, but I think it is because what has happened to her and what people expect from her. She is just angry that she can't get away with what she's doing. Her "**** pop music" is ridiculous considering she makes pop music!

I do think the "**** you pop music" was about the rules that people expect a pop star to follow

The meat dress backlash was pretty terrible. It became iconic because Gaga was more of a fighter then and she was more successful then as well. If she stand by this and releases quality videos/music then it'll be fine.

Why don't y'all understand that when Gaga was all PEACE LOVE AND POP music she was a newbie. She hadn't even really had a true taste of fame until maybe a year and a half later. There's no way she could have anticipated how far she has gone. And her true roots really aren't all that pop. It's not unsafe to assume that she played the record labels to get to where she is today.

I still can't believe Gaga did that I thought the puke thing was genius, she hasn't done anything that bold in a LONG time. But yeah everything else kinda worried me, it was messy and the "f*** pop music" thing was so opposite from how she was in the past with "Pop music will never be low brow" "Pop ate my heart", etc.
