The bolded is BS. Lady Gaga loves to come in after-the-fact and say her songs mean something, but as it stands now the lyrics of Swine don't even IMPLY rape. It's a dance song to a bouncey beat, people aren't "supposed" to feel disgusted listening to it.

This performance had nothing to do with the contents of that song outside of Gaga saying it did on stage.

They clearly knew what she was doing. The girl was flown out from London.

The sad part is that she really is talented but when she does stuff like this, I don't even think about that and neither will anyone else except her fans. I didn't know about the previous barf video or whenever she's done this in the past so this is new to me, but for the ones who do know about it already, why do you think that's entertaining? If i get a stomach virus I hate the feeling alone of me throwing up anything, none the less someone doing it on me wether it's actually from your stomach or just water. For me, at the end of the day, she has a great voice and talent but this isn't showing it in any way. She's capable of much greater things than getting thrown up on to try get a point across.

This wasn't meant to be entertaining; and it certainly wasn't supposed to make you feel good. The POINT of it was to make you squirm; art can be pleasing and nice, and it can also make you hella uncomfortable.

She's displayed her straight-up talent in plenty of performances. That wasn't the goal tonight.

Ever think the bouncey beats mimic sex or even being on ecstasy which the song references? The rhythm progressively intensifies up until the point of squealing, which is arguably analogous to being on ecstasy.

It's clearly about sex, and rough sex at that. The lyrics imply rape. Read them again.
