That's not what she's saying at all. It's an artistic statement. The girl isn't anorexic, she does it for her artwork. Artists are willing to go to great lengths to do whatever it takes for their art.

So when she does this crazy **** (that i'm used to), I just laugh/roll my eyes and move on. I don't dwell or make a big ****ing deal about it. It was gross, but it was just a gig at a festival. I don't get those experiencing total euphoria at the idea that this is supposed to change her career in any way.
