The star of Chrisley Knows Best says he's heard the rumblings about his sexuality for years.
“This man tweeted, ‘When are you going to come out of the closet?’ and I said There's no coming out. I don't live in a closet, but if you'd like me to escort you out of yours I'm happy to do so.' All of a sudden the Tweet went away and he took it down because I flipped the script on him." says the Atlanta millionaire, who's been married for 18 years and has five children.
"What you see is what you get. I am what I am. Other people's opinions of me are just not my business." Todd is an entrepreneur, who became a millionaire through real estate and now lives with his wife of 18 years, Julie, and their children in a gated Atlanta suburb, which, he proudly proclaims, is also home to superstar singer Usher, among other celebrities.
Chrisley says he's proudly flamboyant, unabashedly enthusiastic about fashion, and went to see Elton John for his 40th birthday. Strangely enough, Chrisley's daughter Lindsay feels her father is gay. She reportedly advised Chrisley to be prepared in the case he becomes a "gay pop icon."
"I said I'd rather be a gay icon than I would a redneck. I'm 45. I don't care what your opinion is. The fact that you are thinking about I'm doing in my bedroom at 45 is exciting to me."
I thought he was when I first saw the promos, but then again, it's just stereotypes. I don't get how a lot of gay people cry about gay stereotypes and how they shouldn't exist, but when they use then to try and call another guy gay and try to out them, the stereotypes are perfectly fine. He is straight. He probably eats the ***** like cold pizza. Interest in culture/mannerisms is not equal to sexual orientation.
