ARTPOP is the biggest flop since Bionic, given the expectations. Anyone who argues otherwise is merely fooling themselves.

Also, Prism is (marginally) better than ARTPOP, but the sales have nothing to do with it. I wouldn't call it delusional, but rather misguided.

Demi has nothing to do with Let It Go's success, but I wouldn't claim that fallacy really has much impact on atrl considering that I've never heard of this being a thing till now.

It's been 3 sis and be honest with yourself. Blackout didn't go platinum until recently and sales were way bigger back then. Femme fatale hasn't sold more than 750k tops. And now Britney jeans.

They are not underperforming albums, still. Blackout spawned 2 hits, reached platinum, #2 on BB 200 and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Femme Fatale spawned 3 hits, #1 on BB 200 and reached platinum as well. Her only underperforming era is Britney Jean, and she still snatched a moderate hit and a sold-out Vegas residency from this era

ARTPOP's not an outright flop though. Its done fine enough generally speaking then struggled to pull out another hit because people are stubborn in hating her and making some arrogant statement that she doesn't matter. She was given the cold shoulder because pop stans are predominantly male homosexuals who have a thing for drama and exaggeration.

That solo version should have been #1 on itunes multiple times instead of the duet. And it should have seen a bigger boost when they performed it alone because xtina is so irrelevant on the song, a simple background "singer."
