The RnR HoF attitude has changed a lot since 2007, their more recent decisions are so awkward. Its sad to watch, but at least they havent changed the "25 years rule", so they have a lot of time to reconsider this, because the status of many artists will change. Im sure Bjorks legacy will grow with time.
In this world. Avril's first tree albums were the best selling female pop albums of the year they released. And P!nk is going really strong with her latest albums.

Rock is more than wearing Punk-ish clothes or getting Marilyn Manson on a pop track, or titling a song "Rock N roll" , rock is more than pretending being a rock star , when I listen to Avril's records they are Pop and even teen pop in some ocassions. Its different from Electropop or Dance-pop for sure , but it is pop.

RnR HoF is an unfortunate name, they always included artists of all genres (first members were mostly jazz and blues ). The reason why I dont like this list is not genre. It just looks like their main criterion for the "new millenium" section was success and popularity, not quality of music like it used to be.
