Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Committee know a lot better then you. They are veterans/Pro at this. Obviously they can pick who the stand outs are with their years of knowledge and experience in this industry.

They obviously see Gaga as a trail blazer and someone who has something special to offer, thus they included her out of so many of her peers and included her with such proven LEGENDS. They obviously can tell that she is not like her peers, her talent & artistry stands apart so they included her and rightfully so.

So don't hate, congratulate and spare your kind suggestions.

No need to get upset. Not trying to diminish this for her, just think it's premature.

Marketing types have probably taken over the process, trying to appeal to what they believe is hot 'now' without an eye to the long-term context of it all.
