Hillary's speech was amazing. Sad to see the best 'guy' is not winning.

BTW, stop dreaming. After her "extended campaigning" there is no way Obama will have her on his ticket. Mark my words.

Actually he needs her if he wants to guarantee his victory. It's gonna be too close if Hillary's isn't on the ticket - I'd even say it's a 50% x 50% chance for each right now.

I know, Kaos. Me too.
Anywayz, was Hillary expected to win in South Dakota? As far as I can remember, I read articles giving Obama the victory in both Montana and S. Dakota, but so far, at 92%, Hillary is winning in SD with 55% against 45%!

I'm glad he spent a little time commending Hillary on her campaign and hitting McCain over the head.

That's sad, he won basically just for being black.

I loved both Hillary and Obama. Hopefully he chooses her as VP because I love them together. <3

Obama not winning because he's black? Nonsense, racism is over, those who won't vote for him just because he was black weren't gonna vote for hilary either since she's a woman. Obama will win, i'm almost sure of it. Everyone's ready for a change! specially after Bush.
Plus Obama isn't just an afroamerican, he's intelligent, good looking, classy, he has presence and looks like a great leader. Even if you were a racist, he doesn't fit in any stereotype people might hate.

This is what I say if you are a democrat you should still be happy about this race even if your favorite candidate didn't win. The reason why I say this is Clinton's plans and Obama's plans are just about exactly the same. I find it interesting that Obama decided to give his speech in St Paul, Minnesota the site of the GOP convention because it showed me that he did that to reunite all parties Republicans, Democrats and Independents. Not to mention he didn't talk about himself in the speech he talked about his party he's looking to unite his party (which is why he's trying to get Clinton as VP so she has her supporters too). So unless you want to have 100 years of war, have the draft reinstated and have our country go into another depression then go ahead and vote for McCain. But if you want change you better stay Democrat and vote for Obama.

I know, but their beefs over the past couple months may get the best of him. Emotions > logic. I feel crappy saying this, because I'm absolutely a socially liberal person, but he really just needs a white person on the ticket, not Hilary in particular, although that might be even better than a white male.

You folks think the Anti-Obama posters on this forum are bad? Check this out from Hillaryis44.com:
When Will Obama Concede?
Obama is unelectable and not qualified to be president.
On the night Obama lost South Dakota (Obama’s own projections had him winning South Dakota by 15 percent) he spoke in the same hall in which Mondale conceded to the Reagan landslide.
Obama will either concede now or in November.
Obama won’t win Democrats he needs to win (like the Democrats on this very website). In state after state many Democrats clearly state they will either NOT vote, vote for the unacceptable John McCain, or write in Hillary’s name. That Democrats, many who have never voted for a Republican or nightmared about voting for a Republican, to say they will vote for a Republican is shocking and foreshadows doom for the Democratic? Party in November - if Superdelegates actually vote for Rezko/Ayres/Pfleger/Wright/Farrakhan’s friend - Obama.
Hillary supporters will not vote for Obama on any ticket. Last night, at the Hillary rally, the shouts were Denver, Denver - not tears nor surrender.
No tears nor surrender came from the voters of South Dakota either. No matter how much Big Media insisted Obama was the nominee the people voted for Hillary. Big Media cannot force feed Obama to “bitter” small town America.
Last night, Hillary asked America to write to her. Hillary told us this was our campaign.
Hillary spoke about our resilience, our ability to overcome challenges. Hillary was speaking about America, but her words are especially true of her supporters.
Write to Hillary. Ask Hillary to fight for every vote - including the votes stolen from the voters in Michigan and Florida. Tell Hillary we will not accept the precedent set by the Rules Committee awarding votes to a candidate that was not on the ballot and taking votes away from her which the voters of Michigan entrusted to her worthy care.
Donate to Hillary. Add 44 cents to show our grassroots support for her historic campaign.
Let Hillary know we will never concede to Obama’s race-baiting, gay-bashing, woman-hating campaign of deception and distraction. On to Denver!
Let Obama know he will concede at the Democratic Convention or he will concede in November - Obama is not duping us out of our votes.

I would still vote for Hillary Clinton in November whether she's on the ticket or not.

That's actually more of a problem then you think. Yes their ideas are generally the same, but people like my mother for example feel more secured by Hilllary....she has way more experience especially in foreign affairs.
If Hillary would have won the nomination, my mother would have voted for her...but now she won't even vote at all in the general election. And sadly thats what alot of Hillary supporters might do and her supporters make up a pretty big chunk of voters, that is why some people are saying Obama needs her.

Agreed there's no better way to reunite the party and it's voters then for the them to both be on the same ticket. If it gets done McCain should easily get blown away
