This one guy, one of my best friends in high school, came out to support me when I was recording a performance which was a theatrical dance medley and was basically a medley of songs and he was fine with it. Then we went out for lunch and we kept talking and he asked me if I'm gay and I was like no (to see where this was leading) and then he was like good, 'cause if you were I don't think I'll be able to be friends with you. I stood up, and walked out of the place and blocked him from everywhere and never spoke to him again.

Ironically, earlier at the same year, I got in a fight with this one guy and he pissed me off so I outed him on Facebook with a long note that was read by pretty much everyone who knows him. (and I feel really bad now)

Anyway, here he is, trying to make it as an actor and I'm so proud of him.

I once worked at a hospital in Texas, i'm a male nurse btw... and this one dude just got admitted. So I introduced my self and did my full assessment... and he was like " so you're a nurse?" and I said yes. and he replied " I thought you are a doctor isn't nurse only for female? are you like into dudes?

I was shocked at whats coming out of this guys mouth so I just ****ing said "Yes I am gay... do you have any problem with gay people?" and he gave me this disgusting look and never been so uncomfortable doing my job and I ****ing love my job! So I just continue on what I'm doing and did it fast... and the next thing I knew is that this dude talk to other nurse there, and don't want any male nurse/doctor to take care of him!

This dude is sick and got the nerve to chose who should take care of him... I swear to god him being homophobe will be the death of him.

I threw an eraser at this kid and called him a queer.

I can thankfully say that I have never experienced homophobia, but that's because I'm not fem or behave like what a straight person thinks a gay "behaves" like. However, I do see homophobia at my school!

I don't immediately come across as being gay to most people, so I've never been attacked or harassed or anything like that, but looking for places to live and talking to landlords I would often notice a slight pause after me and my boyfriend specified we were moving in together as a couple and not just roommates. It wasn't necessarily hate or anything because we ended up getting selected for a lot of good places we applied to, but it's the assumption that two men living together are roommates by default annoyed me, like gay is something totally out of the ordinary that you can never expect or take into consideration.

I've also had one person tell me that "I wasn't like THOSE gays, I'm more of a chill gay", which is saying that they only want "straight acting" gay friends.

Didn't happen to me but some dude called my friend a *** outside of a bar and my friend knocked him out in one hit.

I told a kid I'd break his legs on the bus one time because he said ****** in casual conversation to his friend.
