Right. It's honestly sad because Avril is one of the few pop artists that knows how to be fun without being generic. "What the Hell" should have smashed, and of course, the US is one of the countries it didn't peak at number-one, which is irritating considering the US is one of the countries with the most relevance as far as music goes, unfortunately. The US is also one of the countries with the smallest appreciation for music. It's also a shame that Avril doesn't promote her music more, especially in countries like the US. Like, she does all that stuff the opening week of the album and then that's it. And she needs to freaking leave Epic Records. That label is not doing her any good. They're holding her back.
