Nope, not at all. The notion of 'fate' is completely based on opinion and there are no hard facts to prove it. Until I am proven wrong, I say there is no such thing as destiny or fate and that everything happens for a logical reason.
Life is pretty bleak imo. It happens, and then it doesn't. Y'know? lol Doesn't matter if things went right or wrong, or if I worked hard and was successful or became poor etc.
It was first a philosophical and theological claim that the future of the universe is predetermined. But recent advances in physics have come to support it. The universe is deterministic. Every natural event that occurred in the universe was bound to happen, that is, under identical circumstances, these events could not have happened otherwise. And as for its relation to the human actions, our brain also follows the physical laws. These are the electrical and chemical events which the brain obeys. Psychology reveals that the human brain makes choices before we are consciously aware of them. By the time we’re conscious of having made a choice, that choice has already been made for us by our genes and our environments, and the consciousness is merely reporting something determined beforehand in the brain. And that, in turn, suggests that all of our choices are really determined in advance.
