...Hmm, maybe it's based on location? Every gay guy I know, including the masculine one's, find drag queens to be entertaining for some reason, both live and on T.V. Here I was under the impression I'm like the only one who just doesn't get it.

I love Drag Queens!! They are the best and so funny too! Love to watch them on a TV show or in a performance in a Gay bar somewhere though. Not sure if I would hang with one. Never had the opportunity Hahahaha

Some gays just don't like being grouped together with drag queens, most like them though. Many more gays I know tend to not be very fond of lesbians tbh.

Phobic also has to do with the strong antipathy/dislike/hate of certain things as well. It's not just fear but strong feelings of hate associated that are attached to that term.

I don't think "gays" hate drag queens. I just think there are people who hate/are uncomfortable by drag queens for whatever reason, and they should lighten up.

When I was younger drag scared me too.
