I think people, especially the ones pressed over her massive success the last couple of years, just waited for that moment, so they can start dragging. It's embarrassing really
Because she used to be the biggest and most polarising pop girl from 2009 till early 2011, so she attracted obsessed haters. These haters have latched to her to this day even though everyone else has forgotten her. And soon they will be the only ones who care about her. Its not her 'pretentious-ness' because when she was successful no one cared about this, Beyonce and Madonna used to be pretentious - they weren't called out for it until their first commercial failures.
