Lorde slams 'homophobic' Kyle Sandilands

Yesterday, the 17-year-old singer spoke to "The Kyle & Jackie O Show" on KIIS 1065 about her upcoming Australian tour. But the conversation quickly jumped to Lorde's personal life, when Sandilands poked fun at the musician's well-publicised friendship with fellow singer Taylor Swift.
He should have known better than to take on Lorde - everyone knows she's fierce, soulful and intelligent well beyond her years, and Sandiland's for that matter.
"Are you bringing your new bestie, Taylor Swift?" the radio host asked.
"I see you guys' pictures everywhere. Are you guys like, uh, are you together now?" After a moment of silence from the singer, he continued, "Not together as in lesbians. I'm not talking about 'Ellen together.' I'm talking about, like, you guys are friendly right?"
"What do you mean you're not talking about 'Ellen together'?" she asked. "Is there something wrong with lesbians? Is that what you're trying to say?"
"Oh my god no, I would love that!" Sandilands (creepily) responded, "Are you going to confirm now you're in a lesbian relationship with her?"
But the Grammy winner wouldn't take the bait, and replied: "Don't even try it. It's not working."
