James Arthur has criticised The X Factor for producing "karaoke singers" and artists that look "like puppets". The 2012 winner of the ITV talent show told Interia.tv in Poland that the competition aims to find "real talent", but ultimately fails to do so.
"For me, watching The X Factor over the years, they just haven't got it right," he said. "The male winners that they've had, haven't been that believable. They look like puppets, they sound like puppets."
