Discussion: FINALE | The MAX MARTIN Singles Rate

Max Martin is one of the most renowned producers in Pop music over the last 2 decades, proving to be a hit-making powerhouse, producing songs for artists like The Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Pink, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Robyn, and, more recently, Taylor Swift.

It's only fair that the mastermind that has crafted such infectious Pop tunes that we've come to love receives a due rate.

Due to the fact that Max Martin's repertoire extends to an extremely large variety of work, I've narrowed it down to songs written AND produced by him for big-name artists that ATRL knows and have decided to leave out those lesser known acts who never really achieved considerable commercial success.

Also, I have chosen SINGLES only, not album tracks, or else this would be a far longer rate.

I also am aware that there was a previous Max Martin #1 singles rate hosted by Pink Forever. But said rate has been on hiatus for 3 months and this rate includes more than just #1's.

I decided to narrow it down to songs he produced AND wrote. HIAM was Dr. Luke produced, really. Max was only co-producer, meaning his input in that respect was limited.

Same with all of the Teenage Dream singles.

That's why I didn't include them.

EDIT: Same reason I didn't include Kelly's big hits from Breakaway and My Life Would Suck Without You.
