The show is so unbalanced these days. It's like it can't decide whether it's an ensemble series about 4 friends or it's the Hannah show ft. guests. They either need to invest in the other characters storylines more to develop them into something substantial or focus on Hannah as the love/hate lead character and continue developing her story as a struggling writer with a messy personal life.

While I liked this week's episode I have to agree this season has been unwatchable. Everyone has been miserable or insufferable and there isn't much of a hook to keep watching. In season 1 , everything felt fresh and fun, but now it's getting to be a chore to sit through
Also, has anyone noticed how every side character is now some quirky weirdo? It used to be that the girls were the weird ones and the humor came from how they interacted with normal people (like Hannah's job interview in season 1). Now everyone is the same level of weird, which makes the show so monotonous
That role play **** Hannah pulled this week is one if the FUNNIEST things I've seen in a while. Brilliant! I stopped hating her character for a few minutes it was so fantastic!
Do you want me to eat all the foods?
And that thick accent she had for 2 lines for no reason!
