Just came back from watching the second one and it was amazing. Eva Green's character is godly and the cinematography is amazing. The style is SO unique and beautiful to me.

But I was just checking it out, and both these movies got SLAUGHTERED critically. Critics don't mean anything, but it's not even in the avg range..It's well below average on metacritic (30's), and rotten tomatoes one is at 40 while the other at 60.

Shocked, was wondering how y'all feel about these movies? I would recommend the second one very much btw.

Yes! I was a little skeptical about going to see the second one but I ended up loving it. Eva Green's acting was right on point. She kinda made the movie for me. Hope theres a 3rd and final movie.

I saw the first one and kept falling asleep. I love Eva Green though so I kind of want to see this one.

Checked for myself and you're right, the '35' and '30' from 'Metacritic' was throwing me off.
