Do you acknowledge bisexuality as a legitimate sexuality?
I have friends who know I'm bisexual but they still call me gay sometimes and when I correct them, they just shrug like there's no difference. Some even try to convince that I'm just gay and trying to hide it and it infuriates me. A lot of people write off bisexuality as being a "cushion" or a step towards fully coming out and not as a legitimate sexual orientation.
Do you acknowledge bisexuality as a legitimate sexuality like heterosexuality and homosexuality? Or do you think its just a phase?
Of course! I've just never really ran into it that many times, the few people I knew as bisexual eventually came out as gay. But they definitely do exist and are massively overlooked.
Its a tad bit annoying when I'm with a girl and I'm labeled as a lesbian but when I'm with a guy no one cares to label at all. Same happens when celebrities come out as bisexual, their sexuality is completely pushed to the side when they're with someone. Perfect example would be Tom Daley, he came out as bisexual yet was dubbed as gay on news sites everywhere.

It annoys me so much when I say I'm bisexual and people are like "so your gay" and I'm like no I don't just like the D and they look at me like yeah whatever.
It's hard for me to actually have first hand experience with coming across a bisexual person cause I'm one of those people who only know the fake bisexuals from middle school/high school. It's a really confusing situation tbh. It's hard to find someone legit so i start to think that bisexuality doesn't exist.
