I've been listening to the self-titled album all day today and it's slaying me left and right, front to back. Weird is just... Orgasmic.

The way she says "don't you think it's weird?" at the end of the first chorus and it goes into an instrumental break...and the bridge...it's just too good.

The self titled album has so many gems, I have been listening to it a lot lately, it's hard to believe that this year will be it's 10th year anniversary.

Right? I need another Myspace special.

Do y'all think it's safe to say she's finished recording? I had some concerns last night that it's possible the album may be delayed until early next year if Younger gets picked up + she scores the Becky role she just auditioned for. It also occurred to me that she'd look stupid going back on her word about expecting a single late Spring as she's been persistent about it, so if things were to get pushed back, perhaps we'd get a teaser single instead?

I don't think she's done, the last time she was in the studio, it was for a writing session. Besides we'd hear something already if she was.

She better not push back anything. She had plenty of time to work on acting and for everything else, now that she finally promised us a single in the spring after all this waiting, it'd be nice that she keeps her word.

Is Andre even back in LA? Could it be possible she's waiting for him to get back to announce something maybe?

He should be getting back today.

I don't think she's done yet either. I just think she's doing a one week yes, one-two weeks no recording type of deal. This isn't the longest she's been out of the studio since returning.

And I have no doubt that if she scores the film role, the album will be pushed back. I questioned her commitment to music when the pilot for Younger was picked up.

She recently started saying that she'd hopefully release the first single in late Spring/early Summer, so we know that she's keeping her options open, likely because of her acting career.

I got a feeling that the lead single will be out in summer I don't know, sometimes Hilary is so quiet and then she gives us a surprise maybe late spring.

Early summer? when did she say that? Well summer is a good option to release the single and the album can be released in September/October a la PRISM.

I want new music asap tho

If Younger gets picked up, she'll more than likely be filming during the time frame you mentioned, so she wouldn't be able to give the album a fair go in terms of promoting etc which is going to be essential for her.
