I've seen this before. She'll release two pop/rock/kidish oriented albums. Once she turns 18, she'll want to sound more 'grown up' and will release a 'dance record' that will flop hardcore. After that and a few breakdowns, Im sure I'll forget she existed thank god.

So far nearly every female teen artist has followed that formula.

She's already done dance music I think. She's not a one genre artist. But not all female teen artists have done that, I only see two doing it. LOL.

I'm not a fan of Miley, but I do like See You again, so i hope she has video for it soon

Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Ashlee Simpson, heck even Lalaine (who never released a second album, but it was supposed to be pop-rock. & now she's heading to the dance genre)

Basically most of these young ladies try a stab at pop/rock, darker pop/rock & then dance... If not that formula, they may start off in a different genre, but eventually at their third or fourth release go to dance. It's funny, I've seen this happen with more artists as well. I bet Vanessa will go to dance as her favorite genre with her next album as well.

And actually, I've heard this next album will be a lot more pop/rock/country than her last one.

I don't see Ashlee's new one as dance. It doesn't differ as much from her last two to me. It has some more electro in there, but "I Am Me" dabbed in that as well. Of course, the electro/dance aspect is much more prominent though. I thought Vanessa already did dance though?

I don't really like the cover...too childish in my opinion

One or two songs on an album doesn't equal = a dance album.

Ashlee's was a lot more electro/dance.

I say thanks to you! See, this is someone who can easily go to an artist's page and say "I just don't like them." It's a whole lot better than coming in and saying "*****." "Bitch." "Sucks so bad." "She should die." etc.


Back to the cover. I like it. Although, I wish she would stop being so simple with them, though. Breakout's cover is better than Meet Miley Cyrus's, but they both are just simple.

Anyway, the first time I heard "7 Things", I hated it.
Now, it's growing on me.
