well most of my friends are straight (like i barely have gay friends - probs 1)
and all the guys love les girls, but as soon as a trans walk past or a fem gay the distaste comes through - luickly i think perception has evolved because in the past im sure the f bomb and other discriminative thugs would have been dropped.

I have lesbianis friends (3), all of them quite different. One os a girly country chick, whom I treat as any other girl.
One is actually bi and I treat her as any other friend.

I am, however, really turned off by overly masculine lesbians or those who look extremely unkempt, but is something the second case would also disgust me if they weren't homosexual, and the former idk, I have gay friends but I feel that way with feminine gays too. If the girl is attractive, they'll view her either as a conquest/challenge, and try to be the guy who finally gets in her pants, or they'll only view her and her sexuality and relationships in an oversexualized way and basically not respect her. If the girl is butch, then they'll most likely call her ugly or gross, because their hot lesbian fantasy isn't going to be fulfilled by her. Girls can be friends with gay guys quite easily, even attractive gay guys, with little to no problem but it doesn't work that way for guys and lesbians. It's why I try not to tell straight guys that I like chicks also, because I don't want to deal with them bothering me about it.

It makes me think that there will never be full acceptance, due to the way people's sexual feelings obscure their opinions of others.. on top of the way society brings us up to think straight is normal
