I wanted to create an even more sexual version of Partition but at the same time stress the underlying message of the song. Yes, Beyoncé is talking about having sex with her husband, but she is also making a statement and saying that she, as a feminist, can openly talk about sex and "submit" to her husband and his fantasies and still be a strong woman.... Maybe even stronger for realizing her power.
With this in mind, I sampled "The Sensuous Black Woman Meets The Sensuous Black Man" by The Madame & The Prince from comedian Rudy Ray Moore's Zodiac album from the 1970s.
The Sensuous Black Woman replaces the French bridge that was originally in the track because I feel like they fulfill the exact same role; both acknowledge that there is nothing wrong with being a female and loving sex. I do feel like the Sensuous Black Woman adds a tad bit more though because she stresses that you can still be a lady in the streets and a freak in the sheets.
