I have a different definition that doesn't include hip-hop/rap albums. and I said it wasn't ONE of the best years, so not sure where that's coming from.

Nothing besides Beyonce releasing a album was TRULY iconic, tbh. Everything else came and went without much noise. Talking about the MUSIC aspect, not the antics artists did because that does not qualify as music.

No it was poor.

Most of those albums arent 'pop' and the majority of the ones that are, are dreadful.

It was pretty good but nothing amazing. I really loved ARTPOP, Stars Dance & Pure Heroine.
Bangerz, The Heist, and Avril Lavigne were good too. But I didnt really like Beyonce till 2014 so its not part of 2013 to me
