people coming in here shading Let It Go and Happy cause they're pressed Y&B didn't get nominated/was snubbed because of an alleged fake letter just because this happened doesn't make any other nominated song unworthy of their hype. they're all good songs, seriously stop.
The song wasn't nominated because it came out too early. Most films, songs, etc that get Oscar nominations are from films released closer to the voting period.
Y&B just wasn't as fresh on voter's minds and it's not even THAT good. Time to let it go already.
Tell that to Time and countless other sites who reported her snub.
Young And Beautiful was BY FAR the best Soundtrack song of 2013, and that's exactly why I would never expect it to win. Pretty much every year they choose the wrong winners in that category, it's absurd that Let It Go won over Ordinary Love this year. It's so sad that they give so much weight to the "hype" when voting.
It's true. One of the most successful movie soundtrack songs of the year. Someone must have really hated her to fool voters into thinking it wasn't eligible. The fact someone had that much care in the world to send letters out to all the voting members over one damn song.
