Speaking for myself, I think my subconscious hope is that Paula is the main reason Taylor isn't as free and funny and charismatic as in her early interviews and blogs and videos, and that with Paula gone maybe we'll get that Taylor back because I think that that Taylor would be much harder to hate and mock much easier to respect by her detrators.
But the logical part of my brain says even if Paula is responsible for a big part of Taylor's image and how the GP perceives her today, Taylor herself had to have changed some just from growing up in the spotlight and being subjected to such exreme praise and extreme derision by the media and public in general.
So its really hard to know how much is really Paula and her teams coaching and how much its Taylor herself with the environmental and societal modifiers that have shaped who she is and will be.
I think we all kinda want to believe that it was all Paula's fault, even though that's unfair to Paula perhaps. But that's the way it is since we're fans of Taylor, not Paula.
