As of now, Beyonce's career has surpassed Britney's. Period.

More albums sold, more famous, more impact, more global. Britney Spears IS pop music. Since the moment she came out she has defined pop music.

Beyonce has ended up having more longevity, but it doesn't make up for the fact that Britney's peak was far, far bigger than any point in Beyonce's career.

He's right though. Beyonce has an empire to her name. Britney has little to nothing.

It was smart. She tried to reach every demographic. Vogue and Like A Prayer was hardly disaster.

They are not available on official channels like veto whatsoever, you have to buy the album to have them etc., and the most people (non stans) i know don't even know about the videos, but about the album. Promo a year ago won't make you sell 6 mil of an album if you don't promote it after it has been released. 3 million in 3 months is amazing and you know it. plus she doesn't have a HUGE WW smash like most of the pop girls have with their first single, even tho DrIL is doing good

Really now, if any other pop girl pulled that off ("promoting" herself before the release of her album and then dropping it out of nowhere, doing 1 or 2 performances after its release) it would have never sold THAT much in such a short span.

Well one thing is for sure, if your fave did that, no single!!!!! (that'd be her ticket to flop land and you know it), it would not be that successful. and thats no shade. its a fact

She literally embodies modern pop music, Beyonce is nothing but a local R&B girl

All Britney has over Beyonce is album sales she got during the disposable bubblegum pop era that people only use for nostalgia purposes.

Beyonce has garnered more awards, acclaim, money, industry love/respect, notoriety, hits, #1s, etc. than Britney. Death @ Britney being pop music. Britney is a nostalgia act and nothing more.

Comparing Beyonces career to Britneys is not fair. We should compare Beys career to the BOMT. Maybe then and only maybe shell have a chance of winning

They were the the only 2 remotely good moments in a trainreck. 2/5 should not be considered good, she should have slayed all 5 on her own, who cares about demographics, it should have been about her. Plus she ruined like a prayer by inviting cee lo to scream on it
