If this hits international news, it will not end well for their song. Toumani Diabate (Malian musician) used a phrase from the Quran in the song "Tapha Niang", but there was so much backlash that he was forced to change it... and he's a muslim.

Muslims don't play and I don't understand why people continue to provoke them. I understand legit criticism (I support it even), but using Quran recitations in a pop song because "it sounds cool and mysterious" is just asking for unneccesary controversy. Comes across as desperate to me. Then again I'm not sure if that's what they were aiming for.

However, It sounds really good and in a perfect world, it would have been okay.
