When i used to be REALLY fit (i now embrace my love of burgers and cake now too much) i used to do 5 times a week:
20minutes of INTENSE cardio (long periods of cardio is stupid, look it up) which would usually be sprinting or 20mins of the stepper machine (140steps per minute, gradually working up to 160steps)
And i would try do leg day, arm / abs, and shoulder/back day. I didnt usually have a routine just switch up different machines every few weeks (also my brother trains me)
