They better give me back the option to always have the News Feed on 'Most Recent' - I don't get why I'd ever want to use the 'Top Stories' option, which it is constantly flipping back to.

Exactly. MySpace was very local. It was never a thing in my country.

The constant need to update every single thing you do isn't there like it was in 2011.
But Facebook is bigger than it's ever been. Especially with people posting Vine's on Facebook etc.
It's kinda become a hub for all social networks. You see Tumblr post's on Facebook, Vine video's, Instagram photo's etc.

The thing Facebook has that others sites don't is the fact it's become a standard.
In 2011 when I first got my iPhone, I had over 200 contacts in my phone.

When I got my new iPhone, I only added like 50 of the most important people and I Facebook everyone else. Mainly because on Facebook, people will get the message on all there devices.
I can also see for sure if they have read it or not. And it's the same with everyone else I know

It changed for me today and it's atrocious. It's a lot harder to read most of the stuff on there cuz there's less contrast
