I hope Gaga gives us something along the lines of Speechless on the next record rather than something ala Dope. That sorta contemporary rock sound suited her voice so well... Speechless is an underrated gem that everyone here just ignores for SHICD which is ridiculously overrated.
I respect Gaga for BTW, but it isn't a good song to me anymore. I can't listen to it without feeling embarrassed The intro and outro are the best parts!
Just Dance was a catchy well written dance song that didn't feel awkward. Bad Romance put art into pop. Applause put bad verses in a song with a godly chorus.
So that means her next lead single will be amazing

BTW's instrumental is pretty epic I will admit though. Especially the bit where she flipped her ponytail at the Grammys right before the second verse kicks in those sounds are electronic candy.
But really I think Edge would have lead the album better, then BTW for the summer and then with two massive #1s she could pick whichever songs she wanted after that as long as they were HML, ScheiBe and a non-flopping MTN with the first 8 mins of the MV cut out
Hopefully she will, she needs a smash for people to remember she's still that bad bitch.

Her lead singles really have been great, Just Dance is so good and relatable sometimes I wonder if it's the same Gaga. Actually when I listen to The Fame as a whole I wonder how she went from being so relatable to being an alien to the GP and getting away from the with the Koons talk. I know we had this talk before and some said she was not being herself during The Fame, I think she was, she just matured. But when you listen to Just Dance and Boys Boys Boys you could sing those without being like "what the **** am I saying?"

Yep, I have no problem with the instrumental. The lyrics are awkward. "Give yourself prudence, and love your friends. Subway kid rejoice your youth." I don't know if that's worse than "I guess sir, if you say so. Some of is just like to read."
TEOG would have really kicked things off the right way! it is the better song. I know it is subjective, but TEOG and Hair were 10x more liberating and uplifting for me than BTW.
I like Born This Way as a lead single even though I kinda dislike the song. The Edge Of Glory could have easily hit #1 if Judas wouldn't have gotten in the way, and they would have time to make a good video instead of a lackluster one cause of the rush release. Hair would've definitely made a great 3rd single too.

The Fame and The Fame Monster are listenable/relatable. BTW had its human moments, but they are covered in questionable production and some not so good songs. Also her image itself became alien. Literally!!
I don't dislike how she delivers them, I just hate the lyrics. Preferably I would have liked her vocals were less Bowie, but it isn't so bad. I just wish the verses had lyrics that weren't bad
