Which do you prefer? Would you rather have your fave sell 20 mill on one album and have another barely go gold or would you rather have your fave have all platinum albums but none of them sell 10m+?

Dangerously in Love sold 11 million worldwide as of May 2013, according to Mediatraffic. I'm pretty sure it didn't sell another million out of nowhere just like that.

Consistency is better. But in Britney's case it doesn't matter because she outsold most of pop girls discographies with one album and she doesn't even care.
