Mess. I was JUST coming here to say I am SLAYED I didn't realize how legendary and ICONIC Trace Gardevoir/Mega Gardevoir is. On Battle Spot I just traced Greninja's Protean, KOed it with super effective "STAB" Focus Blast. Then they sent in a Thundurus-I, I mega evolved to boost ha Sp.Def and get STAB BP 117 Hyper Voice, and OHKOd it. Didn't save the replay because I wound up losing the battle (), but only because she had like 10% health left and Charizard-Y managed to beat me in the speed tie, leaving my Metagross to get roasted

Then she slayed even HARDER Traced Gastrodon's Storm Drain on the switch-in, absorbed Scald and RECEIVEDT that +1 Sp.Atk, mega evolved and rampaged the rest of the team 3-0. Gardevoir is the Queen of Pop tbh

Gardevoir is an overrated ladyboy. Ha mega form is cute tho.

I think Azumarill is fine as a fairy, that's not the problem. I just think so many other Pokémon who are obviously fairies didn't get the type. Like you guys mentioned: Blissey, the pixie trio, Mega-Absol, hell even something like Mew.

It makes sense that Blissey isn't a fairy, given the fact that the type is obviously there for competitive balance. Blissey was already a top OU mon. Eviolite Chansey in particular would be broken if they were retyped to fairy. That still doesn't explain why the Lake Trio didn't get Psychic/Fairy typing though They've always been garbage except Azelf when suicide leads were a thing, and unlike 99% of the pokemon who did get retyped, Uxie, Azelf and Mesprit are obviously LITERALLY fairies And then there's Florges not being Fairy/Grass (which I complained about before, but it makes such little sense that I will do so again)

If they cared about competitive balance they wouldn't give Garchomp a Mega Evo or have Gale Wings exist in a Physical Pok3mon with access to with Brave Bird

Isn't regular Garchomp better than MegaChomp? idk but it's mega is slower and nowhere near the most powerful mega evo). And it's uglee. Very uglee, just like it's original form. Every other pseudo legendary >>> 'Chomp.

re: Gale Wings, base 83 atk. Not saying it's bad, I like Talonflame, but clearly they gave it a mediocre attack stat to somewhat balance it. It's not like Gale Wings was given to Staraptor or King Braviary ().
