This is actually a good list of nominations for once.

Well, before Twilight came along, MTV used to go for more of the Oscar/Golden Globe nominated movies, so that is actually nothing new at all for them.

I don't get why people are complaining about the nominations, they have a pretty good mix of Oscar/Golden Globe nominations and then the ones for the younger views that are in their demo, these are actually some of their best noms in some time.

I hope Rih will attend and win!

It's still mostly a popularity contest (always have been) and a lot of movies nominated don't deserve their nominations (plus a few of the categories are still dumb, like the shirtless one), but kudos to them for trying to cater to older audiences by nominating a lot of Oscar/Globes-nominated movies.
