So I got this writing job for some blog or whatever, and she's willing to pay $6 per blog post - I have to provide the topic, do the research and compose it, etc.

Also, it will be ghostwritten meaning she gets the credit for the things I write.

I'm fine with the whole ghostwriter thing since I can't just expect someone to let me write my stuff and get credit for them as well when I'm not an expert yet.

My question is, should I take it or ask for a higher rate?

No that's tacky and and an insult to your integrity to have some take credit for your work. $6 is obviously better than nothing but still terrible.

Exactly what I was thinking. But since my experience as a writer was only in the school paper publication, I thought it was a good place to start.

The rate, tho, that's what bothers me most. I mean, shouldn't I be paid more because I don't get the credit for the posts?

Well take it if you have no better choices for now, but you should never give up looking for a better job.

Is there a word requirement? I wrote SEO descriptions in college and made about $.02 per word which on average would probably end up equating to like 9 or 10 dollars an hour which wasn't bad.
