I think his guy will be one of the best male artists soon. He can sing, dance and is just 17 and is inspired by King Usher
Here a part from his OK! Magazine interview:
When did you know you wanted to be a performer?
Trevor Jackson: My brother and I would always be in our room, listening to Usher and trying to sing the words and perform it. I feel like the moment when I knew I couldn’t do anything else would be in Lion King [on Broadway]. Knowing I can make these people’s day and make them smile, that they can feel a certain way by doing just what I love do to.
(I don't mean with "Next" that he'll replace Usher, which no one can... so don't get me wrong please. I mean with "Next" that he might have a similar career in the future, because he's just 17 and can sing + dance.)
I can hear Usher, Chris Brown, Michael Jackson, Tyrese, and Brian McKnight in his voice; he sounds like all of R&B's biggest tenors. And obviously MJ influences his dancing. His music ain't all that (his girlfriend >>>) but he has talent.
His success at his age inspires the **** out of me.

I think we have enough MJ/Usher clones.. and lord knows I'm a sucker for these type of acts, but it's really getting tired. Plus he's 17, I try not to listen to kids lol.

That's about how old JT and Usher were when they started out. MJ was even younger. You gotta start somewhere!
