Galaxy s5 continues to fail: Slow benchmarks vs competition.

According to some numbers in the photos, the New HTC One clocks in at an astonishing 38,000 points. This score beats out most of its rivals already on the market including the Samsung Galaxy S5's 35,666 score.
The ALL-NEW HTC One (Htc One 2?) benchmarks beat the Galaxy s5 benchmarks..
Its the only thing they have as a rebuttal. That and the removal battery/sd card is why they supposedly have sooooo many fans!! Raw specs btw don't always mean a faster phone. Its common knowledge that Samsung bloats their flagships with dreadful apps, a cartoony U.I. and countless gimmicks.
Meanwhile feast on the sequel to last years most acclaimed phone. (the One snatching S5's specs wig)
Looks like another year of HTC (and Apple) being the superior devices
I really don't get what compels people to buy Galaxy's I mean the HTC One looks MUCH nicer, has a cleaner UI, better benchmarks, so why is the Galaxy so successful? Does it really just boil down to their ridiculous marketing?

Sounds like another brand I know with great marketing and a bunch of blind sheep that buy anything from it.
Cause everyone who looks for a phone checks benchmark tests first. That said I do hate how this phone is turning out.
That's the rebuttal the Samsung fanboys have been giving for the last few year. Bloating about their impressive spec sheet and benchmarks.

But you have to admit Iphone's do exquisite devices (even if the design philosophy has remained similar for years). You cant take that away from them.
That 3K difference doesn't represent anything, but get your life tho, in the meantime the S5 will outsell the "New HTC One" entire life-run in one month
-----------
I thought the Xperia Z2 was the new android standard ? Yet the OP didn't even bother mention it (it probably did less than the One, but as per usual Samsung is the one that gets dragged )
Kii at "poor Samsung", HTC is the one getting alarmingly bad financial reports after reports, Samsung on the other hand remains unbothered being the number ONE smartphone seller in the world and second tablet seller
HTC can have the benchmarks, critics and awards, it still won't help them sell more copies of their phone, just look at the first HTC One...

As usual, cue the bankrupt talk to convey argument. Sad when a tiny struggling company still outdoes a billion dollar company and produces a more celebrated smartphone. I buy products based on my own research, not because everyone saw a commercial about it.
I love benchmarks, but they really shouldn't be used like this. The Moto X had awful benchmark scores and it was still praised because of its snappiness. Most reviewers even said it was as fast as the Nexus 5, which had much better benchmark scores. I mean, will anyone even notice a difference while using these phones in terms of speed? Idts.
