Let's not put on stan blinders. Everyone was on her about both. Her forgetting the lyrics actually made her vocal flubs more apparent because suddenly everyone was paying closer attention. She got sooo much flack for that last note too.
And since you bring up The Voice:
She's had some major flubs on there too.
Overall, she's been good though. So while it's put her in America's good graces (sorta)...I don't think it's reinforced her status as THE vocalist of our generation. Just a good vocalist (most of the time) and coach. Nothing more, nothing less.
No, if you look up the reaction, the overwhelming majority of it was about her forgetting the lyrics.
She missed that note on that song you mentioned, but it's nowhere as bad as you make it.
And I disagree about your last part, but fair enough.
And this... she had no warm up whatsoever and she still hit that falsetto note. I don't think Beyonce has done or ever will do this without preparation.
Honestly, XTina has an amazing tone and that's one of the main huge advantages to her voice, but the way she sings ruins it for me. Songs like "I Am" and "Say Something" display perfectly that the saying "less is more" applies to a voice like hers. If she sang more the way someone like Adele or Gaga does, as in stays within the range they stay in and don't go over the top with things, I think she would be so much better.
then what is she? a cashier? you're being ridiculous
She's more of a performer. People don't look at Beyonce and think OH WHAT A VOICE first and foremost, they think of her putting on a good show and dancing.
Let me ask you this. You know Beyonce's music has a lot of production flaws and poor melodies. Do you think that stops people from liking it?
What...?
Metacritic: 4 - 73
Metacritic: BEYONCE - 86
I'm not sure how you're objectively assessing these "production flaws" and "poor melodies", but the most objective source available (critics) disagree.

Metacritic has nothing to do with production/melody. That has to do with critics opinions.

People DO look at her as a vocalist
Where are you getting your sources from? Have you seen her awards?
