I understand you mean that it's moderate compared to BL, TS but you can't say it like that. DH is a smash hit on its own. BL and TS are even bigger smashes but that doesn't make DH a moderate hit.

California Gurls wasn't overshadowed by Firework, for example. But Firework is ultimately more huge & is the defining hit of TD. That being said, CG was still humongous.

I feel like all of the first four singles are still remembered to this day.
I'd say Firework is the number one defining hit from that era, but after that, E.T., California Girls, and Teenage Dream all made about the same amount of impact.

Really? I don't think Teenage Dream made as much impact as the other 3 singles.

Firework 6.5x platinum
CG 5.4x platinum
E.T. 5.6x platinum
Teenage Dream 4.4x platinum

Idk it didn't really feel HUGE like the other singles did.
