Today was a really good day. Jhene Aiko (her iconic classic Bed Peace) was used as an example for classic conditioning or somethin' like that. I also walked past a girl signing From Time, and The Worst came on in gym and a lot of the girls went off. Her impact is kinda limitless and I've realized that she truly is more in touch with the GP than ANY of the other R&B girls. But anyway I was really hoping I'd come home and log on to see the top thread "Sevyn Collapses; In Critical Condition" or something like that but oh well. There's always tomorrow.
Every song on the album is a power ballad. Like one of those old radio stations. This is a slow dance; a slow burner.
I wrote ["No Rest for the Wicked"] in Sweden when I was packing up my ****, and I’d just gotten out of a relationship and it was a horrible time. I just had the hurt, shame, sadness, guilt, longing. In the verse, I’m referring to myself pleading guilty but I’m referring to all of us.
