Kitchen knives
Which do you prefer? Japanese style, or Western style?
Which would you rather have in your kitchen, classic European brands like Wüsthof and J. A. Henckels, or Japanese brands like Shun or Miyabi?
Which works best for what?

As long as they can cut I don't understand needing anything more than a butcher knife, a bread cutting type knife, and a small peeler knife. Well those and steak/butter knifes
