I don't think it's considered a sin if he did it on accident, though, which is what I get from this article.

I don't think it was ever not allowed by the Catholic Church, though. I'm Catholic and the way my Theology teacher described it, being gay is not a sin, nor is it a sin to be in a gay relationship. He said homosexuality is only considered sinful if you act upon those homosexual desires in a sexual manner or if a gay marries their gay partner because God intended marriage for a man and woman. The way I see it, it's not our place to judge homosexuals, it's God's, and I'm glad Pope Francis cleared things up a little bit with this. God loves everyone because He created them all, and I honestly believe that He would accept them and love them regardless, even if it is or isn't a sin. I wish less Catholics would try and judge the homosexuals, though, it's so hypocritical. I'm not even homosexual but it irritates me. The only problem I have with them is when they throw their sexuality in your face and expect special treatment because they're that way. But overall, I don't have a problem with gays, and we honestly shouldn't.... Thank God for Pope Francis!
