I would honestly love her to be more that just a cute internet flash in the pan. So far, her winning that award bodes well for her continued success.

What? Stop pretending Lupita doesn't fit the beauty standard. Just because she is black? Ya'll are doing too much. She has a gorgeous face, white teeth, perfect smile, is skinny and hot. She fits the beauty standard perfectly actually. Susan Boyle is an example of someone who doesn't.

She has a "interesting" look, I wouldnt call her ugly, but she in no way fits the standard like Jennifer Lawrence does. Another thing working against her in my honest opinion - would be her "accent". She isnt a fluent speaker, so that could affect her diversity in "acting" and limit her role options.

I heard some people talk about how she's too dark or something (it was an argument as to why she doesnt fit the beauty standard) She is beautiful and unique and I think it really works in her favor, her face is extremely memorable. I think she might be more beautiful than Jennifer Lawrence too (especially after Jenn's haircut ). I hope her accent doesn't affect her career, there are many actresses with accents.
