I try to make sure I have no spelling mistakes and I reply fast if I like you, if I don't wanna talk to you I'll reply slow or I'll just even stop replying in the middle of a conversation.
YES. I worked up the nerve to ask this obviously gay kid in my marching band for his number, and he gave me it. Then I tried to chat him up over the winter break and the heaux never replied back. Then he tried to holler back at me like everything was cool when we came back to school, I was like: 'no bro I don't like you anymore, go away.'
I think I'm somewhere in between. Sometimes I really put effort into the message and sometimes I just wait for that person to call me because I'm too lazy to bother (I know it's rude but I just can't help it).
My actually texts are good, I just never carry my phone with me because I find it so distracting, so it takes me a long time to reply to stuff. If a friendship or relationship relies on me replying within a time frame, though, then it wasn't solid enough to begin with imo
