No, you just have to sign up like anyone else over the age of 18. Most people just do it when they go to sign up for financial aid. You gotta do it regardless

In a lot of states, when you apply for your driver's license, by signing the DL application, you consent to being put into the Selective Service system when you turn 18. They put a little paragraph in there.

"...requires transmission of my information to the Selective Service System. By signing and submitting this application, I consent to be registered with the Selective Service System, provided I am at least age 16 but under age 26 and meet the criteria for registration in accordance with the Military Selective Service Act. If I am under age 18, I understand that my information will be transmitted to Selective Service but I will not be registered until I reach age 18...."

Y'all are gonna be wishing DADT wasn't scrapped a few years ago.

There is literally 0% chance that I will be fighting in any war. They could draft every man in the UK and I would refuse to even consider doing it. Could not deal with that ****, and I get really pissed off at people like army commanders who think they have the right to tell me what to do.
