Maybe not. Let's play devil's advocate, maybe Russia senses a war is coming and they're just taking the initiative to secure their own safety just in case.

Obviously, this is a hypothetical poll and wars are a lot more complicated then one country attacking another. In fact, WWII was a series of events that led to the escalation of the war until the US finally joined and it became a true "World" war. Maybe the war started back in 2001 when the Middle East attacked NYC?
