last time he did in one week what chris brown has barely done to date with his 2nd album. i think it's safe to say whateveer he does first week will be better than what cb did
No, it isn't a good thing when RS gives you 2.5. They have Discipline 3.5 and I'd be the first to admit that it's a 3-star album. I'm sure this Usher LP is the same way.
Okay well I'm finished with the album, amazing. <3 A lot of slower songs, but they were edgy unlike Alicia's where all of the ballads and slow songs sounded the same.
Well I'm going back an repeating my favorites, "Moving Mountains". <3
My favourites are Moving Mountains, His Mistakes, Something Special, and some other ones which I can't remember at the moment. Moving Mountains is soooo good. It's all emotional and ****. The sounds in the background give the song depth and usher's vocals are on point. Oh and the Prayer For You (Interlude) was nice . I don't see why this got 2.5 :-/ I'd give it AT LEAST 3.5
"What's Your Name" and "His Mistakes" are the only other songs that could do well as singles off of "Here I Stand", but "Something Special" is really good too. I think the album' has it's moments, but a lot of these songs do indeed seem like leftovers.
Yeah I think it's a pretty good album now. I give it either a B or a B+. Not better than Confessions or 8701 but still pretty good. Favorites include: This Ain't Sex, Moving Mountains, Whats Your Name, Something Special, Best Thing featuring Jay-Z, His Mistakes, Appetite, What's A Man To Do, Here I Stand and Will Work For Love
