The obsession with Gaga on this forum is real. A "fad" yet still selling 1,7M albums and selling out well on her worldwide tour, not to mention 3 Top 15 singles.

It's normal for pop stars to underperform.

Erotica was released after 9 years of slayage and it underperformed because of all controversy/backlash. Bedtime Stories didn't underperform and we all know the reason behind American's Life underperformance. Madonna was at the top of the world 5 years into her career.

You sound so stupid. Her "flop album" is selling just about on-par or better than the rest of her contemporaries, except for Katy and Bey. I don't understand how her album underperforming means she's over when artists like Rihanna sell the same amount of albums and are the "queens of our generation"

Britney had a 2 year show that made her a star, with your logic Miley will have a career 2.5x the size of Britney's

Miley, longer career, more cultural impact (Hannah Montana, Wrecking Ball) and diverse demographic (Gay, straight, young, older).

Are you gonna contribute anything to the topic at hand apart from "**** stans are doing the most*? This is getting more repetitive than the tracks on ARTPOP.

Yeah, Madonna's career low points didn't come with her second and third albums like Gaga

Rihanna's last two albums sold over 3.5 million worldwide and actually went Platinum in the US. And she has her single sales on top of that.

ARTPOP came out only in November, you don't know how much it will sell in the long run. It's near 2m WW right now and she hasn't really done much of anything with the era for the past 2 months.

BOMT made her a star, not Mickey Mouse Club.

This is what Gaga fans don't seem to get. They think flopping with your 6th or 7th album is the same as flopping with your third.

Bedtime Stories's first single, Secret, peaked at #3. Take A Bot went #1. Bedtime Story peaked at #42 and Human Nature at #46. It's an underperformance. Y'all were literally dragging Gaga when DWUW peaked at #13 yet two singles of BS didn't go Top 40 :').
Also, Bedtime Stories peaked at #3 on Billboard 200.

It's at 1.6 million right now and already left the United World Chart (as well as pretty much every relevant chart). If she isn't releasing a new single then I highly doubt it'll even top 2 million.
