Umm..ANYTHING gaga does, I'd rather watch Madonna do because she ALWAYS does it better, fiercer, & much more intelligently. It's just who she is. No shade tho, gaga nice, just not compared to M.
Madonna in terms of dressing like Marilyn.
Gaga performed the superior song, which makes me like the performance more. I think her idea was really cute too.

In reality in every Instance Madonna does Marilyn Better. Gaga pulls off other inspirations like bowie.
I do think though that Madonna has never embodied innocence, cluelessness, or any other trait that could make her look like a “bimbo”. She has always been in charge, she has always been two steps ahead of everybody else (the complete opposite of Marilyn Monroe), and that has been Madonna’s trait since her boytoy days.
I think that lady gaga does at times embody the cluelessness and innocence. So perhaps gaga is closer to Monroe's ACTUAL personality.
